The survey found that American loggers and farmers are the happy at work

Loggers and farmers in the US are happy and stressed at work, a recent survey has found. The survey, which asked groups of people in different occupations to record what they were doing each day, also asked more than 13,000 Americans what they thought their jobs were meaningful and how happy, sad, stressed, miserable and tired they felt, the Washington Post reported. People working in agriculture and logging reported the high levels of happiness and the low levels of stress. At the same time, happiness and job meaning are not equal numbers. Health care workers believe their work is meaningful, but they are unhappy and under great pressure. The most stressful professions include finance and insurance, as well as education and technology, with the most stressful being lawyers. In general, white-collar workers are much more stressed than blue-collar workers.
Studies have shown a strong link between mental health and green Spaces or outdoor activities. Seeing more trees outside the window can help people reduce stress, so lumberjacks who look at "trees" every day are happier.
